Casina delle Civette

The exhibition features works by Karen Blixen, Luigi Ontani, Erik Satie, Luchino Visconti, four great European artist who may truly be considered Great Dandies, for their works, their choices, and especially for their lifestyle.

A corner of the museum has been dedicated to these four dandies, each of whom was assigned an icon of its famous stained glass windows (the Rose to Blixen, the Peacock to Ontani, the Owl to Satie, the Swan to Visconti).
The exhibition focuses on the profile of these four artists with particular attention to some lesser-known aspects of their personality/activity/production, and includes "monographic" weeks with events inspired by each of them.
