Arturo Dazzi 1881/1966 Roma, Carrara, Forte dei Marmi
Exhibition dedicated to Arturo Dazzi – famous classical sculptor from the XX century – in the occasion of his death’s fiftieth anniversary.
65 works coming from « Fondazione Villa Bertelli’s Donazione Dazzi» as well as from private collections. Organized by Anna Vittoria Laghi, this exhibition tells us about this artist through his special bond to three cities: Carrara where he was born, Rome where he became famous, Forte dei Marmi, the buen retiro, where he created some of his most famous works and discovered painting.
The works exhibited show his artistic activity from 1914 to 1935.
