Exhibition dedicated to Bianca Attolico.
The Lady of Art. The exhibition is dedicated to the profile and personality of Bianca Attolico (1931-2020), an art collector with very wide interests, ranging from the Roman School to the latest generations, who passed away on January 19th 2020.
The exhibition is promoted by the Roma Capitale, Department of Cultural Growth - Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage and by the “Fondazione La Quadriennale di Roma”.
Curated by the critic Ludovico Pratesi, in agreement with the heirs Lorenzo and Elena Attolico.
The exhibition is set up in the spaces of the Casino dei Principi a Villa Torlonia, seat of the Archives of the Roman School - Archivio della Scuola Romana, the school that constitutes the starting point of the collection of Bianca Attolico, who donated her art library to the “Archivio Biblioteca della Quadriennale”.
The exhibition brings together about sixty works from the collection, including paintings and sculptures, divided into sections by chronological order.
