Human Matter. The Unbearable Lightness of sculpture by Igor Kitzberger
The first exhibition of the Czech sculptor in Rome featuring artworks in iron and bronze, and deeply imbued with Central European culture, shapes that remodel the works of Medardo Rosso, Marino Marini, Giacometti.
Kitzberger’s knowledge of contemporary sculpture is combined with the melancholic and mysterious atmosphere of his country, creating dreamlike, grotesque and evanescent shapes.
